In the second quarter of 2026 house prices rose 1.7% on the previous quarter and 4.0% on a year earlier, according to the provisional ISTAT estimates published on 17 September.

New homes rose 5.0% in a year and existing ones 3.7%: both more slowly than in the first quarter. In the North-West annual growth was 3.9%; in Turin 8.5%.

ISTAT does not publish the index for the province of Biella. For the city, the reference remains the values of the Italian Revenue Agency, which were essentially flat in 2025 (−0.4%).
